Following OGP Brasilia online

by TimDavies

On April 17th and 18th the first annual OGP meeting will be taking place in Brasilia. At this meeting, the membership of the OGP will formally grow from the eight founding countries, welcoming 46 new members, each of whom will share their own National Action Plans of open government commitments.

The UK government will be represented, as will members of UK civil society, and at the meeting the UK will take on co-chairmanship of the OGP with the Brazilian government. The next full OGP meeting will take place in the UK next year.

The whole of OGP Brasilia is being webcast (advance registration required), and there are opportunities to engage online – as moderators will be working to feed in discussions from the #ogp2012 tag on twitter to the sessions as well.
