Meeting notes 23rd November 2012

Developing the UK’s next National Action Plan

by Tim Hughes

Over the past few weeks members of the civil society network have been working with members of the Cabinet Office Transparency Team to:
  1. agree a process for developing the UK’s next Open Government Partnership National Action Plan in partnership; and
  2. scope out the possible areas of content for the National Action Plan.

The current plan, subject to ministerial approval, is that the UK will develop an interim plan to be published in March 2013, followed by the full report to be published in September/October 2013.

With the Cabinet Office we have come up with the following process for developing the themes and narrative of the interim plan:

29 November: NAP theme: Participation and open policy making (@ the ODI, 1230-1400)
