2018 Annual Lecture – Kleptocracy: London and its enabling role in spreading global corruption

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Transparency International. In that time, corruption has been placed firmly on the international agenda but remains a major global menace. A key player in the fight back is Bill Browder, the driving force behind the Magnitsky Act, US legislation authorising the government to sanction human rights offenders, freeze their assets and ban them from entering the country. He continues to campaign for the introduction of similar legislation worldwide and is also the author of RED NOTICE, which chronicles Russian corruption.

Your ticket and ID will be required for entry to the event. Please also be aware that if you turn up after 18:00 you risk losing your seat in the lecture theatre. Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately, tickets are now sold out but you’ll be able to watch the speech live on the TI UK website from 18:30 on the night. Check the next bulletin for photos and a report back from the lecture.
