Are you a young citizen advocate for change?

Wed 22 February, 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Hosted by Scotland’s Open Government Network and The International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS)

Free Ticket required

Young people are often simultaneously at the centre of things and on the periphery. They may be the focus of an initiative or an action whilst having little to do with the decision-making process itself. Over the last year and in the build-up to The Year Of Young People 2018 (YOYP), The IDEAS Network and its members have invited young people throughout Scotland to become Young Citizens Advocates (YCA), pushing for change and becoming engaged with the issues that matter most to them.

This event, co-hosted by The Open Government Network and informed by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), will be part of IDEAS’ series of YCA events. It will be an interactive session exploring young people’s perspectives on a range of issues and will include the opportunity for young people and organisations to share and channel their passion and enthusiasm for change.
