Open government in Wales

An Invitation
To come and join us from 6.00 – 8.00pm on 7th March
at Yr Hen Lyfrgell (The Old Library) Cardiff
with colleagues from the Welsh Government and UK Open Government Network to discuss Open Government in Wales
This event is an opportunity to consider ways to make government work better for people through transparency, participation and accountability, and find out how you can get involved in the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Wales.
The UK was one of eight founding members of the OGP in September 2011.  The initiative, which supports governments and civil society to introduce open government reforms, now has 69 participating countries. In all of these countries, government and civil society are working together to develop and implement open government reforms.
The UK Open Government National Action Plan is currently being developed by all of the UK governments. We will be joined at the event by colleagues from Scottish and UK government and civil society.
