Webinar – Open Government and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
This webinar is the first in a series from the UK-wide Open Government Pioneers Project which will provide an introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Craig Matasick from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will explore the instrumental value of Open Government principles and methods in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This webinar will include a 30 minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session and discussion.

Craig Matasick is a Policy Analyst at the OECD. He co-authored a chapter in OECD (2016) Report on Open Government: The Global Context and the Way Forward which explored the link between open government and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
He works on the OECD open government program and within the public governance reform team, helping countries strengthen governance and improve their service delivery. He led on the production of the Open Government Review of Indonesia and the Governance Scan of Romania.
